RADXION Radiation Services LLC successfully executed a comoplete NORM/TENORM survey and waste characterization campaign for an LNG vessel facility, focused on internal cargo tank radiological assessment, identification of suspect TENORM residues, and safe management of generated radioactive waste. This project reflects our capability to deliver high-risk confined-space radiological work with strong HSE control, defensible data quality, and regulatory-aligned outputs for the LNG and oil & gas sector across the UAE/GCC.

Scope of Work

  • Radiological surveys inside LNG cargo tanks (confined space entry) to identify any NORM/TENORM contaminated residues/materials

  • Dose rate and contamination screening using calibrated instruments and defined action levels

  • Sampling of residues/waste matrices (e.g., sludge/scale/solids) using controlled methods (composite/aliquot as applicable)

  • Waste segregation, temporary containment, and safe handling of any suspect TENORM material collected during survey activities

  • Data recording and documentation (locations, readings, drum IDs, sample IDs, field notes, and chain-of-custody)
